Mission Statement & Vision
To GO into all the world spreading the good news that Jesus is alive and those who call upon His name will be saved. Through the anointing of God and His divine presence and power in our lives, we will be a witness to the abundant joy of salvation. The world does not know this kind of joy, a joy that comes from an eternal salvation provided by a loving and merciful God through the shed blood of Jesus for ALL mankind.
Wide Awake Missions offers unique short-term opportunities to adventurous individuals who are ready to passionately share the Gospel of Jesus to the world and experience a life-changing collision of faith and adventure.
When you begin to discover the heart of God for the world, you also discover a deeper purpose for yourself. You begin to build the edges of the “GO” puzzle and start to see how you fit in. God can reach the world with one voice if He chooses, but He has given us all a testimony, and through our love of the Lord, we can be His witnesses..." even to the ends of the world.”
In Revelation 7:9, every nation, tribe, people, and language are represented at the throne of God. God, through us, reaches into every dark and distant land searching for His lost sheep. We are His voice, and He has commanded us to GO!

Our Vision is that EVERY Christian takes a short-term mission trip to really see God’s heart for the world and discover a Biblical world view. As you awaken yourself to God’s purpose for your life and begin to step out of your comfort zone, you will have a chance to discover the gifts and talents He uniquely has for you.
Philosophy of Ministry and Missions
Wide Awake Missions exists because we have seen the Lord and His heart for the world, in darkness and need, that compels us to GO. It is in response to His mandate to “...Go into all the world" (Mark 16:15).
We believe that missions is an intentional commitment. We realize that as we stay focused on Jesus, and “...run in such a way, as not without aim... " (1 Corinthians 9:26-27), that we will avoid being distracted or discouraged.
One of our main goals is for Christians to see the harvest and find their place and calling in it...whether it is through mainstream evangelism or behind the scenes, Christian or secular. It is our hope that Christians, through their future efforts and witness, will use Godly, creative ways to take the Good News of the Gospel to the world. Another goal for the participants of each mission trip is to experience the beautiful world God has created. Through specific trip adventures, individuals will have the chance to achieve personal goals, setting milestones for the rest of their lives.
We are called to witness to unbelievers, dead in their sins, so Jesus can open their eyes to eternal life. It is only Jesus who can bring new life to the people who are lost. It is His Holy Spirit that convicts of sin and unrighteousness and reveal that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
