Bahamas 2020 Basic Trip Itinerary

( Subject to change...A comprehensive itinerary will be sent 30 days prior to the trip.)

* Each day we try and start with a quiet time, devotional, and prayer/worship. Occasionally, an early departure for ministry will disrupt our usual morning routine, and then we will fit it in later that day or evening.

A beautiful Caribbean Paradise famous for its beaches and resorts, Nassau is home to more than 250,000 people, most of whom hold a strong cultural value for religion. Nassau is the growing capital of the Bahamas. It lies on the island of New Providence, with neighboring Paradise Island accessible via Nassau Harbor bridges. A popular cruise-ship stop, the city has a hilly landscape and is known for beaches as well as its offshore coral reefs, popular for diving and snorkeling.

Unfortunately, many of their beliefs focus on rules and regulations instead of knowing Jesus personally and living in grace-filled Christian community. WAM has pioneered new church, school, and orphanage relationships here, and we look forward to continuing to support the outreach being done by pastors from local churches. Join us and help introduce this island nation to the love of God!

There's nothing more amazing than giving of yourself, experiencing wonderful outreach opportunities, all with an amazing team, and  have an absolute BLAST doing it! This Christmas season we will be bringing the joy and ministering in schools, small communities, orphanages, and local churches to bring God's love to an island, recently recovering from the economic impact of Hurricane Dorian, by sharing the Gospel, working with children, and serving in the many ways needed. We'll spend the last two days in the Bahamas enjoying the Atlantis Aquaventure Water Park (beyond belief amazing!) and have a Stuart Cove's snorkel excursion (where they filmed "Flipper"!

December 27: Miami

Once you arrive, our airport greeting team will meet you at the airport, enjoy dinner together, and begin our team outreach training. During this time, we will have some team bonding time, and we will go over trip logistics, rules, safety, cultural items, team communication, schedule...and then have worship service. *You will be sharing a room with others (same gender) as it helps create team bonding...and is just more fun!
